Small apartment dining chair: Help family start HaloShort
In a small apartment, the TV may be only a chair-turn away from the dinner table. To help family members try a new app, hand them the remote and guide them through a few basics. HaloShort uses the directional, confirm, and back buttons for navigation.

Leave the dining chair position for watching the screen and using the remote
The dining chair originally faces the table. When it is turned toward the TV after a meal, check whether getting up requires going around the chair back, and whether cups or storage boxes on the table are blocking the picture. Put the remote somewhere everyone can see and reach, which is more convenient than wedging it between the chair and the table.
If the TV is also connected to a box, first let family members know which remote is normally used and from which entry point content is opened. Do not explain too much device switching at once. Being able to independently open the app to be watched this time is enough, and other operations can be learned gradually.
Select a show, then get to know episode selection
HaloShort's directional buttons are used to move the selection, the confirm button is used to enter, and the back button is used to return to the previous page. For specific playback buttons, follow the on-screen prompts; there is no need to memorize a certain button as always being pause. After entering a show of interest, find the episode selection entry and know how to return to the episode just watched.
When family members want to watch, let them operate it once themselves. If they go to the wrong page, go back; repeatedly selecting a familiar title makes it easier to know the next step than only listening to instructions nearby. Favorite candidates can also be kept in local favorites, so the next time this TV is opened, there are fewer rounds of searching.
The first time, there is no need to finish adjusting all settings
If the current episode plays normally and the subtitle language is suitable, you can start watching the story first. If you only want to watch one episode, turn off autoplay for now, and leave other features until they are actually needed.
HaloShort is currently free, and the download entry can be found through the Emotn store. The home TV or box must be a compatible Android TV or Google TV device. After installation, opening it from the same entry point will make it easier for family members to remember.
