A chair company that still runs its own welding line

Buyers usually find us after a supplier has let them down — on a finish that went blotchy, a footrest that loosened, or a colour that didn't match the photo. We are not the cheapest factory in Anji and we don't pretend to be. What we offer is a chair that leaves the line the same as the sample you signed, container after container.

Two notes on our history, because they get muddled. The Demu brand goes back to around 1999; the company as it trades today was registered in 2009. So when we say "over two decades", that is the brand — we'd rather be precise than round up. The plant sits in Tangpu, in the Anji development zone, where the supply chain for steel tube, foam, fabric, plating and gas lifts is close enough that a colour change doesn't mean a three-week wait.

What we actually do well

• Dining chairs — steel and beech-frame chairs for restaurants, hotels and contract dining, our largest line.
• Leisure & accent chairs — shaped-back lounge and lobby chairs with electroplated or powder-coat frames.
• Bar & counter stools — fixed and swivel stools with welded footrests and weighted bases.
• Home-office chairs — task and a few executive shapes, to round out a workspace order.

Quality, stated plainly

We run ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 management systems, and the design studio has taken a national outstanding-design award. Our chairs are built and tested to BIFMA and EN seating patterns; we arrange third-party SGS or TÜV reports per order rather than claim a blanket certificate that wouldn't match your specific build. If a market needs a particular test, name it and we'll quote it.

Where we are honest about limits

We are a seating specialist. If you need something far outside chairs and stools — a full case-goods programme, say — we will tell you rather than take an order we'd run badly. The fastest way to a useful answer is a short, specific brief: chair types, quantities, market, and whether it's OEM or ODM.
